at this time i agree with overall market valuation silver vs. copper from investment standpoint.however purchasing a few "cool" looking copper rounds as novelty items imo is ok who knows with the current global aggression situation 6/26/2024 perhaps those copper rounds worse case scenario are barter ready for needed goods in another reality.

Nobody needs gold. The real currency is going to be strategic metals especially bismuth, indium, tungsten, tantalum, tin, and enriched uranium.

Right now (June 25, 2024) a superbox of 500 Silver Eagles is about $17,300 (spot silver is $29.01). That is entirely doable for most Americans, but they do not consider it important.

It's all bs. Including the "maintain 5% of your holdings in precious metals...." That's the old CFP rhetoric. Stackers now relize that this is waaaaaay too low.

The thing is that PM stocks have not really gone up much. I'm seeing stocks that really are no higher than they were (in some cases even lower) than when gold was under 2k and silver under 21. Remember just because the market goes down does not insure that precious metals go up at least not immediately. In some cases like 2008 2020 they went down. jmho

I really think you stacking numbers are low! You should have it ranked by net worth! Example: net worth of 1 million needs 50 oz gold to 100oz and 2000-5000 oz of silver. Just a thought.

100% agree. In the case of silver all they have to do is let it run up to it’s all time nominal hi and it will literally come out of the woodwork. As for gold let it go too 3000 and people will Take to coin shops by the satchel. Then when they feel they’ve got the majority of it they will reevaluate both. Then by up everything at very depressed prices. You will own😅 nothing.

What I like about gold and silver (I have kinda a lot of silver, very little gold) is the very same gold and silver the Romans, Phoenicians, Minoans, Egyptians, Nubians, Uruks, etc used is still here. It never goes away like fiat currency.

I think that's a great starting goal. The more you have to protect the more you'll need to hold.

1924 Germany decided Banks could re-asses propert debt, all else was reset. But the 5 major banks of Germany ended up foreclosing 1000's of German homes over the next few years, not so much from mortgages.. but from emergency loans taken out as the currency was collapsing, and of course the Gov't was saying all would be fine --This caused much resentment from the German people toward the Banking industry..... and by 1930 in Germany the cataysts were in place that would change the entire world til today. - All because a half dozen bankers and some paid off Gov't officials got greedy on a currency reset

The Perth Mint says weak demand is causing job cuts, even though gold prices are high. Can you explain why demand might be weak despite the high price? Are there other factors besides gold price that could be affecting the Perth Mint's business?

At the time in 1999-2002 we had properties in Belgium and Germany. The most relevant fact we noticed in that period in time was the stunning inflation that followed, being hyped away in the media, but very very noticable in the population. In about 3 years prices almost doubled. Consequence from that experience, we made last couple of years significant real estate investments in Bulgaria's Black Sea Holiday Real Estate. Bulgaria is on the verge of getting the Euro. An almost sure bet.

The banks are desperate to get silver and gold in Aus.

What do you think of investing in allocated fractional ownership of a good delivery bar? This is available through the Royal Mint (UK) as "DigiGold" and privately through the Bullion Vault company. These products seem to address many of the disadvantages of ETFs on the one hand and direct ownership of smaller bars and coins on the other. Could be an interesting subject for a video.

This advice is very usa specific your viewers are probably primarily american but it would still be worth pointing it out specifically. In my country buying bars isnt advised due to tax laws and buying any silver isnt either for the same reason .
